The wait is over – the 2008 debut Sundance flick hits theatre February 10th.
The Yellow Handkerchief, packing on a four-star power punch – William Hurt, Maria Bello, Kristen Stewart, and Eddie Redmayne – is set to be released soon and is already stirring talk that the ride the quartet embarks on is going to be tear-jerker for the audience.
This poignant drama follows Brett (played by Hurt), a trivial criminal, looking for a ride home [to reconcile with his wife, May (Bello)] after being jailed for six years. Hurt gives a noteworthy performance as an outsider that hitches a ride from a pair of troubled teens, Martine (Stewart) and Gordy (Redmayne).
